What Are Canvas Floater Frames?
Unlike a traditional fine art frame, canvas floater frames will not cover any of the face of the canvas. Instead, the canvas sits neatly on the back of the inside lip of the frame, with a slight gap between the outer lip of the frame and the edge of the canvas. This gap serves two functions. First of all, it separates the art from the frame to prevent damage from contact with any acids in the frame, much the way a mat does in a traditional picture frame. Secondly, it creates an eye-catching “floating” look. Many Sizes & Colors are Available
